Production Manager

Our client is a leading provider of innovative solutions tailored to the fast food and quick-service restaurant industry. On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all aspects of production in their dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, and fabricators to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a full-time position, working hours: Monday-Friday 7am-4pm.

The Benefits:

• 35,000 - 40,000 DOE
• 20 days holiday + bank holiday (holiday increasing with length of service)

Production Manager - Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production activities to ensure smooth work flows and timely project completion.
• Lead and nurture the production team to promote collaboration and high performance.
• Efficiently allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to optimise production.
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards through thorough inspection and testing.
• Implement and uphold health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and drive initiatives for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
• Manage production budgets to ensure cost-effective operations without sacrificing quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and project management teams for seamless communication.
• Proactively address and resolve production challenges as they arise.
• Keep accurate records of production metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Production Manager - Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing or production, within a managerial capacity.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering and fabrication processes.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams effectively.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in production management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication and/or welding processes.
• Familiarity with methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Proven track record of implementing initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity.
