About the role of a Mechanical Lead

I am working with a well-known sub-contractor based in Manchester. They deliver a lot of in-house M&E for a larger main contractor for high-end projects, in Manchester, ranging up to 100m,

They require a Mechanical lead to manage packages from cradle to grave. The chosen candidate will have close contact with all mechanical engineers, within the team, to ensure the programme is kept to the time schedule and within budget.

Experience/Qualifications for a Mechanical Lead

• A proven track record in managing and tendering complex projects, including an oversight of sub-contractors.

• Supporting operational teams through active listening and encouragement
  Working closely with Contract Managers and the Executive Leadership Team to achieve strategic objectives.
• Managing client expectations on a day-to-day basis while highlighting the value provided.
• Experience working in a department that allows them to showcase logical thinking skills and verbal communication skills.
• Input into pre-contract requirements focusing on customer care and business excellence.
