Cantello Tayler Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to join our client based in Englefield Green.

The successful Caretaker will:

• Repair doors, windows, and general building installations (shelving, display boards, flat pack)
• Have basic plumbing and electrical skills (managing blockages, leaks, light bulbs, minor installation, and repair)
• Supervise contractors where in-house repairs are not possible
• Undertake cleaning requirements as directed
• Undertake the netting and cleaning of the site pools and water features
• Maintain then external furniture and play equipment
• Maintain the appearance of premise (pressure washing external areas, remove debris/leaves/foliage/bird waste etc)
• Ensure the Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are observed

The successful Caretaker will have:

• Experience in maintenance roles, undertaking repairs and general DIY knowledge
• Experience of managing own workload and making operational decisions
• The physical capability required for lifting and manual labour
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Willingness to work out-of-hours on an occasional basis and demonstrate flexibility around working hours during the summer and when the client is in residence
• Must hold a clean UK Driving Licence and be willing to work across other sites flexibly

Additional details:

• Working hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm
• Working days: Normally Tuesday to Saturday with flexibility required during the summer months
