Graduate Power Systems Engineer

Job Purpose: Responsible for specifying, designing, assembling, testing, installing, and commissioning electrical control systems, with a focus on power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry standards, and internal processes.
  • Pre-sale evaluation: assess customer requirements, preliminary design of solutions, major component selection, and cost estimation.
  • Post-sale: finalize design concept, detailed electrical system design, software programming, and hardware assembly.
  • Install and commission power systems at customer sites.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum 2:1 in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Power Electronics or Power Systems.
  • Relevant undergraduate placement experience.
  • Passion for power systems and electrical control systems.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Confident, proactive, organized, adaptable, and a reliable problem solver.
  • Hands-on attitude and enthusiasm.
