As a Support Worker, you will make areal difference to people's lives! Passionate about people,you will enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life andcareer too, as you gain the experience and training you need toprogress with us.

This is a brand new supportedliving service in Sandwich and we have high expectations for ourstaff. You will receive all the necessary training prior tosupporting the person and this will take place locally.

ShiftPatterns

This is a 24-hourservice, therefore flexibility is essential. You will be working arange of shifts including nights and some weekends. There isalways the option to discuss flexible shifts such as nights only,weekends only and part time hours.

About therole

• I need mysupport workers to be patient, understanding and confident in theirapproach.
• My support workers need to bemindful of the language they use when communicating with me, beinghonest, boundaried and consistent is essential.
• I need people to support me to live a fulfillinglife.
• You will be required to work alongsidespecialists in multi-disciplinary teams. This may includeOccupational Therapists, Social Workers and more.

Youshould be

• Caring,passionate about supporting people.
• Beresilient, patient and understanding. It will take a while to beable to develop a strong bond with me.
• Beconsistent in your support approach.
• Be ableto use language effectively to enable me to widen myopportunities.

Youshould have:

• Theright attitude!
• The ability to work well aspart of a team and independently.
• You shouldhave a non-judgmental approach.
