As a SEN Teaching Assistant in the education and training sector you will work alongside the class teacher and other support staff, helping meet the differing needs of the learners. A flexible approach to the role is vital as you will need to support the classroom as a whole, as well as providing support to students individually when needed.

Requirements:

• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and young people
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Experience with SEN is beneficial but not required - training will be provided
• Personal/Professional experience with children and/or young people is desirable but not essential
• A caring individual with energy, drive and enthusiasm.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will need:

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
