Having recently launched a new dedicated Corporate Parenting Service we are looking to recruit Social Workers and Team Managers who want to work in a service that is highly ambitious for all of our children and our care leavers. During a recent focussed visit Ofsted recognised Central Bedfordshire’s values of placing children and young people at the centre of all that we do by not working to but ‘with’ children and their parents

Relationship based practice sits at the core of everything we do by working with children, families and their natural networks to build on their strengths. Our workforce told Ofsted that they enjoy working for Central Bedfordshire and feel well supported by visible and caring managers and senior leaders and Ofsted also recognised the level of support available through a wide range of relevant training and development opportunities which help our practitioners undertake reflective and effective quality work with children and their families and networks.
