This collaborative, global organisation are looking to hire a Project engineer to join their preconstruction design team based in Stockport. You will be working on projects across the NorthWest, many of a prestigious nature involving all traditional materials.
You will be responsible for the production of technical solutions within budget for the projects, liaising with the clients, architects. You will be attending design meetings as well as overseeing/producing design/calculations with the primary structure and interfacing works.
Alongside the design work there will be extensive site visits and design meetings, a great role for a technically minded and engaging engineer looking for a step up in their roles and responsibilities.
You will be a degree qualified engineer working towards chartership (ICE or IStructE) and have proven experience of working within a structural consultanbcy in the UK. You will be experienced working to UK codes. Experience of glass design would be of interest but is not essential.
