We are seeking a Group Senior Buyer to join our Procurement & Supply Chain department in Manchester, where you will play a pivotal role in the procurement of FMCG goods.

• Leading procurement activities for designated FMCG categories.
• Developing and executing effective sourcing strategies.
• Managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure value and quality.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand and meet business needs.
• Monitoring market trends and analysing impact on procurement activities.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Identifying and mitigating risks within the supply chain.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Profile

A successful Group Senior Buyer should have:

• Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
• Knowledge of procurement systems and processes.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer
