Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a background in automation and machine assembly? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join a dynamic engineering team within a fast-paced, industry-leading provider of heat-sealing technology solutions. This role is based in Bedfordshire area and comes with clear potential for career progression as the business continues to grow.
What You'll Do: As the Electrical Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and refining cutting-edge solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Creating system designs that meet Machinery Directives
• Developing concept designs and cost estimates in collaboration with Technical Account Managers
• Conducting technical reviews to tailor solutions to customer applications
• Designing components and assemblies specific to heat-sealing applications
• Providing technical support to internal teams and customers
• Ensuring compliance with UKCA & CE directives
• Supporting machine setup, testing, and on-site installation when required

What You'll Bring:

• Strong experience in electrical schematic design, ideally with exposure to pneumatic systems
• A solid foundation in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, with mechanical or mechatronic skills as a plus
• Previous experience in machine manufacturing and assembly, preferably within automation
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software

Qualifications:

• BTEC, HNC, or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• 45,000 - 55,000 (DOE)
