Maintenance Engineer

KPJ Group is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading global company in the food production industry at their site based in Rochdale.

• £48,000 per year
• Rotating shifts
• Monday Friday 5:30am 2:25pm / 2:15pm 11:10pm
• Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
• 28 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?

• Designing and implementing improvements in production processes to increase efficiency
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and safety standards are met
• Optimising manufacturing operations and workflows to meet production targets
• Investigating and resolve production issues, identifying areas for improvement
• Supporting the introduction of new equipment and technologies to enhance production

What do you need?

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Time served as an apprentice (desirable)
