Quantity Surveyor (Drylining)

Our client, a multi-disciplined Fit Out Contractor, is seeking a commercially focussed Quantity Surveyor within the Drylining, Raised Access Flooring, Partitions and Metal Ceilings markets to join their young and dynamic team.

Our client has been active in the construction sector for over 30 years and have built up a solid client base with consistent work throughout London and beyond

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates and budgets for interior fit out projects
• Conduct on-site measurements and take-offs
• Assist in the procurement of materials and subcontractors
• Prepare and submit progress claims and variations
• Assist in the preparation of final accounts
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule
• Keep accurate records of all costs and quantities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Previous experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the interior fit out sector
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quantity surveying software
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
