Alecto Recruitment are assisting a leading Facilities Maintenance contractor based in London, who are looking to appoint a Mechanical Sprinkler Service Engineer to oversee 6 large prestigious sites in the East London area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out servicing and remedial works of Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrants, Fire Hose Reels, Dry/Wet Risers in accordance with the latest British and EN standards
• Provide information to quote to upgrade or modify these systems in relation to manufacturers and industry guidelines
• Ensuring all work meets industry standards and complies with safety regulations
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to complete projects on time
• Conducting inspections, testing, and servicing of fire sprinkler & wet riser systems
• Identifying and troubleshooting system issues, providing necessary repairs
• To manage spare part stock
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and design layouts

Requirements:

• Proven experience (2 years) in a similar role.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and NFPA standards
• Own tools required. Specialist tools will be provided.
• Own vehicle required.
• Be willing to work on call on rotation
• Working hours: 7:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 7:30am-4pm on Friday
• Required: ASAP
