FINANCIAL ANALYST
As Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial activities of the practice Accounts department. Your primary responsibilities will include weekly Data Analysis and Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Strategic support and Process improvement. You will work closely with the Directors, the Financial Controller and other finance team members to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company s financial resources.

Key responsibilities
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Produce Monthly KPIs for group reporting.
- Produce Monthly Partner reporting packs.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret financial data to support business decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Business Intelligence Tools:
- Support implementation of reporting tools.
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Support the financial planning process by providing data-driven insights.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Strategic Support:
- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and business cases.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline financial reporting and analysis processes.
- Develop and implement best practices for data management and analysis.
Person Specification
Candidates with previous experience working in an accounting/finance role, ideally as a Financial Analyst, are likely to have the skills and experience required for this role. We are also looking for:
- Part qualified/QBE in accounting, business or finance
- Experience SAGE and XERO, Power BI
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Takes initiative for their own work within an understood framework of scope and authority
- Deals with all matters promptly, professionally and effectively to meet critical deadlines
- Makes effective use of time in order to carry out tasks to the appropriate standard
- Being able to work under pressure and to prioritise workflow
- Generate new ideas/initiatives to promote efficiency or improve processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
