SSEN Transmission is at the heart of the transition to net zero in the UK. In the coming years, our network will be pivotal in connecting and transporting the power needed to decarbonise the UK’s electricity network and in doing so power the UK’s net zero ambition. Our business is rapidly growing, in order to deliver the largest investment package that Scotland’s electricity system has ever seen, with a projected investment programme of over £20bn in the next 10 years.
As Climate Strategy Manager, you are responsible for developing and maintaining SSEN Transmission’s strategy for reducing its business carbon emissions in line with science-based targets in addition to preparing Climate Strategy, carbon data and reporting.
