Polisher / Fettler / Metal Finisher

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal surfaces for polishing via cleaning, sanding and degreasing.
• Polish precision components using buffing machines, sanders, grinders and hand tools to smooth and shine surfaces of aerospace and medical components.
• Self-inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain and completed required documentation for products

Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience as a metal polisher, fettler, finisher, or deburrer.
• Proficiency in using polishing tools, machinery and techniques
• An understanding of different metal types and their polishing requirements
• Experience in fettling is desirable
• High attention to detail
