We are actively recruiting for a Deputy SENDCo to support a school who have just promoted their previous Deputy SENDCo into a higher SLT role . I am looking for a Deputy SENDCo for a school with an autism base, they are looking for staff with relevant experience who has good communication skills and can support the SENDCo in adminstration dutites as well as student support.

The successful Deputy SENDCo will have:

Experience teaching or supervising students

Experience in SEN roles, whether in a mainstream or SEN setting

Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+

Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged

Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments
