A major UK multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking an Associate Director / Technical Director to lead their Sustainability Team in London. About the Role:
As an Associate Director / Technical Director, you will lead the London Sustainability Team, providing strategic direction, technical expertise, and oversight for significant projects. Working alongside experienced directors, you will play a pivotal role in the planned expansion of the London MEP & Sustainability team from 10 to 40 members over the next 2-3 years. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the sustainability offering, lead client engagement, and impact the built environment on a large scale.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing the London Sustainability Team and guiding high-level project delivery across commercial, residential, healthcare, and educational sectors
  • Building and managing client relationships with a focus on winning new work and delivering top-quality outcomes
  • Acting as a senior technical authority to foster innovation and best practices in an array of sustainable design disciplines including:
    • Building Physics & Energy Modelling
    • Green Building Certifications
    • Whole Life Carbon & Embodied Carbon
  • Driving team growth and business development with the potential to evolve into a Regional Lead role, managing sustainability teams across the South East as the team expands
