Quotations Specialist - Shipping

We are looking for a Quotations Specialist for our client based in Bradford. In this role, you'll deal with incoming queries from customers who want to organise shipments. These shipments can be anywhere in the world and can be via Air, Road or Sea.

This role would suit someone who has experience in sales, account management or shipping. We are looking for someone who has great communication skills, the ability to negotiate and follow up with customers.

Main duties to include:

• Receive requests for customer quotations
• Negotiate rates with carriers, hauliers and suppliers
• Confirm availability of equipment
• Prepare and submit quotations to customers
• Follow up on quotations and gather customer feedback
• Ensure correct margins are applied
• Track success and failure of quotations

We are looking for:

• Experience of quotations, either in a sales/account management role or shipping
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good negotiation skills and excellent communication skills
• Someone who is organised and sees processes through to completion
