Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: up to 45,000

Location: Westminster London

Hours: Mon - Fri 7:30-5:30pm

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team at a prestigious site in Westminster. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and emergency systems.
• Perform reactive maintenance in response to electrical faults and breakdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work completed, parts used, and any follow-up actions required.
• Collaborate with other maintenance team members and contractors to ensure comprehensive facility upkeep.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and electrical standards.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems and equipment as needed.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 2360 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• NVQ L3 Electrical
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally in a commercial or prestigious environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A proactive approach to work and a commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
