Fabricator/Production Operative

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our expanding client in the Telford area. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for using various tools and techniques to fabricate and assemble plastic components. This is a role ideal for someone looking for an new opportunity and to learn multiple skill sets in a bespoke industry

Job Role

• Fabricate and assemble plastic parts according to specifications
• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to cut, shape, and bend plastic materials
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure finished products meet standards
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and solve fabrication issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience/Requirements:

• Previous experience as a plastic Fabricator or similar role
• Proficient in stick welding and other welding techniques
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and machinery used in fabrication
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision

The package

• Negotiable pay rate starting at £12 but this can be discussed.
• 12 week temporary to permanent role
• Standard working week is 40 hours but there is an opportunity to work more.
• Opportunity to learn a niche skill set within bespoke industry.
