Technical Sales Engineer (Acute Care & Ventilation)
Location: Scotland and North of the UK
Salary: Up to £50k + 40% Bonus + Car Allowance + Mobile Phone

Job Purpose: The Technical Sales Engineer will manage the company s Acute Care and Ventilation product portfolio, driving sales and providing first-class after-sales support. This role requires expertise in promoting and selling medical products, offering technical solutions, and maintaining excellent customer relationships. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring customer satisfaction through product demonstrations, servicing, and support.
Key Responsibilities: - Achieve sales and gross profit targets by promoting and selling the Acute Care and Ventilation products.
- Develop strategies to convert hospital care accounts to the company s products, including critical care and temperature management products.
- Conduct product demonstrations and negotiations with healthcare professionals, including EBME teams, critical care units, and procurement managers.
- Provide after-sales support and training to ensure successful product integration and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain product knowledge and deliver engaging demonstrations for both disposable and capital equipment.
- Work collaboratively with Clinical Teams, Product Managers, and Customer Support to meet customer needs.
- Diagnose, repair, and calibrate equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards.
- Promote maintenance contracts and managed service contracts for the company s product range.
- Attend conferences and exhibitions to promote the product portfolio and represent the company.
Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong technical aptitude and ability to solve technical issues.
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and manage accounts.
- Able to deliver compelling product presentations and build lasting customer relationships.
- Understanding of UK healthcare regulations and ability to adhere to quality standards.
- Ability to manage technical product servicing, including testing, repairing, and maintaining equipment.
Requirements: - Proven experience in a technical service role, ideally within the medical device industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas.
- Full UK driving license.
- Desirable: Experience in neonatal or critical care product sales.
