Role: HGV Class 2 Driver - Attachments

Location: Bridgwater

Salary: c 40,000

Duration: Permanent

Expected hours: 42.5 per week

HGV Class 2 Driver Duties:

• Loading, unloading and transporting attachments across the South-West, with simple fitting of attachments on sites.
• Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation.
• Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured using a tablet based reporting system.
• Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards.
• Upkeep, light maintenance and housekeeping of your allocated vehicle.
• Be a customer focused individual, always wanting to help & support customer base

HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:

• A Clean Class 2 licence
• Candidates will ideally have experience in the construction arena, loading, securing and transporting of hydraulic attachment equipment would be a great asset
• NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous
• FORS eLearning modules advantageous
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Good initiative.
• Good time management.
