We are looking for a Part Time HR Advisor to join our client based in Huddersfield. This is a newly created role as the HR function was previously managed through a centralised team. In order to better support their employees, the company is looking for a HR professional to be based on site 2-3 days per week. This role forms part of the senior leadership team and will be an integral part of the business growth.
Main duties:
- Supporting with performance reviews
- Managing disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Holiday and absence management
- Processing new starter and leaver documentation
- Implement company standards and best practice
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Support with payroll and manage any payroll queries
- Adhoc generalist HR duties
We are looking for:
- Sound knowledge of HR policies, practices and employment law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CIPD level 5 would be an advantage, however we will consider applications from those who are qualified by experience
- Someone who can handle sensitive information and reduce risk for the business
- The ability to deliver feedback in a clear and constructive way
