Context

  • Management and ownership of driving operational carrier performance and ensure the INTTRA/LCT systems used provide the platform required for shipment bookings, tracking and performance reporting.
  • Supporting Logistics’ journey to deliver best in class in our 6C measures (Customer, Cost, Cash, Carbon, Culture and Capabilities).
  • Drive the operational performance of our carrier base to ensure we deliver against our service performance ambition.
  • Always manage the carriers in the provision of shipment booking data and accurate data to track and trace containers, for all containers in transit.
  • Effective communication with internal and external partners.
  • Analyzing carrier performance data and producing reports to support the operational carrier performance management.
  • Ensure INTTRA/LCT capability is fit for purpose, benchmark capabilities against alternative platforms.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Support the GBS Logistics team in the delivery of an effective carrier operational performance management process. 
  • Provision of accurate, timely and pertinent analytics on shipping performance
  • Develop effective relationships with carriers to maintain and improve the overall performance levels provided to the team and the markets serviced.
  • Play a key role in the design, maintenance and improvement of the way the logistics uses its chosen technology.
  • Delivery of training for all new INTTRA users within the team and relevant markets.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A background understanding of logistics and Supply Chain dynamics.
  • Knowledge of the freight industry and managing external suppliers.
  • Confident in communicating at all levels.
  • Experience of working within multi- functional teams or recognised team working skills
  • Capable of setting own priorities
  • Analytical, numerate, enthusiastic and tenacious.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, LCT and INTTRA beneficial.
