I am currently representing a global Food Brand in their search for a Planning Manager. The ideal candidate will excel in managing and developing a planning function within the fast-paced FMCG industry.

Description

The role of Planning Manager will be responsible for:

• Ensure product availability by effectively managing procurement and supply chain processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Identify and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast product demand.
• Monitor market trends and assess their impact on supply chain activities.
• Maintain compliance with industry and company standards.
• Lead and manage a team, promoting a positive work environment.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procurement and supply chain processes.

Profile

A successful Planning Manager should have:

• A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in using supply chain management software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
