Children's Residential Support Worker

New Horizon Care operates a number of Children's Homes in the Birmingham area.

Our homes care for Children and Young People with complex and challenging needs, including Learning Disabilities. We are currently recruiting for Child Care Practitioners and Residential Social Workers to work in our SEMH home in the Handsworth/Perry Barr and Edgbaston areas.

You will over a six month period complete induction training and your manager will work closely with you to advance your personal development and growth. You will then go on to complete a Level 4 Diploma in Health and Social Care.

Although experience is an advantage it is not a requirement, so if you have transferrable life skills such as resilience, humour, patience and feel you can relate, and support children and young people then put in your application.
