Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

My busy client, based in Tonbridge, are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will be assisting the production department by maintaining high levels of equipment efficiency and availability, solving or reducing the impact of any operational problems in the workplace. Carrying out a systematic preventative/predictive maintenance programme and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. The role will include:

• Fault finding and repair of machinery
• Servicing
• General maintenance
• Electrical/mechanical machine maintenance.

The ideal Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will have extensive knowledge of mechanical machine maintenance/repair and possess the ability of a good fitter, a limited knowledge of electrical maintenance is useful, along with knowledge of AutoCAD. You will also have:

• An understanding of drawings
• Some machining experience
• Basic welding and fabrication skills
• A positive can-do attitude
• The ability to learn and take in information
