The Role

As Account Partner at Veeva you will lead the sales and account management efforts for Vault Development Cloud and you will manage the relationship between Veeva and all relevant stakeholders in business and IT on all levels including C-level.

The Account Partner will manage a highly valued customer, a Top 20 global pharma company headquartered in UK and will be responsible for generating qualified opportunities, winning new and retaining existing business. The role is global so will require coordination of a global team and travelling to other locations of the customer when needed.

What You'll Do

  • Understand and present Veeva Development Cloud and inspire interest from a Top 20 Global Pharma company.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the business, IT, and C-level in R&D and Quality domains.
  • Meet/exceed pipeline generation and revenue targets.
  • Contribute to team quarterly and annual sales goals.
  • Manage complex sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate
  • Keep current with industry trends and engage customers in addressing their business challenges
  • Act with urgency, integrity, and a focus on the customer

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software sales or consulting experience within Life Sciences
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
  • Strategic account planning and execution skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work with a wide range of customers, from end users to C-level
  • Must be highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision
  • A passion for solving customer business problems
  • Must have a team-first mentality
  • Languages - English

Nice to Have

  • Understanding of the drug development, quality, and manufacturing domain
  • Existing knowledge/network of the Life Sciences market in the UK region
  • Understanding software solutions across Clinical Operations, Clinical Data, Regulatory, Quality and Safety areas.
