Jongor Hire have been supplying the event and hospitality industry with catering equipment for over 50 years, so it’s fair to say we know what we’re doing! With over 750,000 items of hire equipment held in stock our Sales team are kept very busy!

We are looking for an individual to join our busy Sales team on a permanent basis as a Sales Administrator, to support the team by completing administrative tasks associated with the hire and off hire of our commercial catering equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the sales inbox and allocating emails to appropriate people within the sales team and wider business
  • Answering inbound calls and ensuring these are dealt with in an efficient way
  • Providing quotes to potential clients received via email or via inbound calls and chasing these quotes to convert to orders
  • Processing clients orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Checking data accuracy in orders
  • Raising and sending out invoices
  • Maintaining customer records

Essential requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and especially in depth knowledge of Excel
  • Experience of using a stock order system
  • Experience of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be a great team player whilst being able to work independently
  • Have exceptional attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Be quick thinking and take initiative to solve any challenges that come your way
  • Be prepared to learn internal software programme
  • Be self-motivated with a results driven approach
  • A sales or administrative background would be desirable

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

  • You may be required to flex your shift pattern during June and July. This may mean starting early ie 8am and finishing later ie 5.30pm.
