Winder/Fitter

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Winder Fitter based in Avonmouth to join one of clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a global engineering company who have seen continuous growth for several decades.

Responsibilities of the Workshop Winder Fitter

• Dismantle, rewind and reassemble conventional single phase and three phase and small AC/DC motors including pumps, motors, gearboxes and generators.
• Testing and detailing of AC/DC electrical motor winding.
• Connection and testing of winding.
• Carry out incoming inspections of electro-mechanical equipment.

Requirements for a successful Workshop Winder Fitter

• Mechanical time-served and indentured to ONC & HNC, NVQ or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience within a similar role and working with pumps/gearboxes/motors and fans.
• Strong Engineering background.
• Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Water hygiene qualification desirable.

Salary: £8.84 - £20.50 per hour
Location: Avonmouth
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Fridays 8:00am - 1:30pm
