Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Drama lessons for KS3 and KS4 students, potentially including KS5.
• Teach key aspects of drama, including acting techniques, script analysis, stagecraft, and performance skills.
• Encourage student participation in school plays, productions, and extracurricular drama activities.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Drama exams, supporting their practical and written coursework.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and creative learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and best practices in drama education.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge in Drama, with experience teaching at the secondary level (KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5).
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for the performing arts and the ability to inspire creativity in students.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
