Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Ashford

Location: Ashford

Daily Rate: 110 - 120 per day

Start Date: ASAP ongoing - full time

Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a full-time role at a large secondary school in Ashford. The role is to start ASAP on a full time long term basis with the option of going on a permanent contract with the school for the right candidate.

The Role

• Provide targeted support to individual students, small groups and whole class depending on the needs of the day
• Covering classes in the absence of the class teacher when required
• Plan, prepare and deliver group work or Team Teaching with the main class teacher
• Support students during classes to enable them to access the curriculum

Requirements

• Hold HLTA qualification or have HLTA experience
• Experience planning and delivering specialist PPA lessons across the secondary curriculum.

• Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
