Process Engineer - Heat Treatment & Chemical Engineer

Job Title: Process Engineer (Contractor)
Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Contract: 12-month temporary contract

We are seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support in our Chemical Processing area, focused on surface finishes and quality control. You will work within the Special Process Group, supporting both OE and Spares, ensuring compliance, performing routine tests, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Support chemical processing and perform routine technical tests.
-Lead and support NADCAP audits.
-Drive process and technology improvements for enhanced quality and efficiency.
-Maintain equipment, calibration, and documentation standards.
-Collaborate with suppliers and customers to meet production requirements.

Skills & Requirements:

-Background in chemical processing or quality testing (chemical/pharmaceutical-based).
-Experience with audits, problem-solving, and quality control.
-Excellent communication and IT skills.
-Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent.
-Strong time management and flexibility to support other process departments.
