The Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) are two separate companies operating together to provide service and support for those involved in radiography. Together they comprise the professional body and trade union for those practicing in clinical imaging and radiotherapy.

The Society and College of Radiographers has a great opportunity for a senior role supporting the Executive Director of Professional Policy (EDPP). This role provides operational leadership and support to the Professional and Educational (P&E) team, deputising for the EDPP, with a focus on supporting the delivery of the education priorities for the organisation and leading the delivery and management of the research priorities for the College of Radiographers.
Home or hybrid working arrangements are available. This role will involve travel including overnight stays and potential international journeys.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced registered radiography leader (see below), who has proven experience in a leadership capacity in health, education and research settings, and who will support the delivery of the educational and research priorities for the organisation and who will deputise for the Executive Director of Professional Policy.

Essential criteria

  • You will be a registered radiographer with the HCPC, or on a PSA accredited voluntary register (sonographers, nuclear medicine technologist) , living in the UK with a post graduate master's degree level qualification with relevant experience within the education setting and experience of leading research.
  • Leadership experience, motivating and supporting others to achieve goals
  • Demonstrable experience and knowledge of the education sector including delivery of education programmes
  • A research portfolio, including authorship and experience as a reviewer for a peer reviewed journal
  • Experience and knowledge of health professions and healthcare delivery in the UK
  • Collaborative approach with good interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to influence decision making,

Home Workers Allowance £1126 (Homeworking)
