Field Service Engineer

Are you an electro-mechanical engineer with strong IT skills? Good with customers and working to deadlines? Our client, an established technology provider, are currently seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer to cover their extensive range of products including but not limited to, weighing scales, printers, hand scanners and food slicers, within a number of leading supermarket retailers.

They are looking for field engineers with an electro-mechanical background, such as Vending, Coffee, ATM, EPOS, printers, Medical Equipment etc. to cross train on their full range of products

Job Details:

• Repair, install and maintain a wide range of equipment that is typically found on a food counter or self serve check out in a supermarket

Requirements of the role:

• Experience in an electro-mechanical field engineering role
• Understanding of IT
• Strong electro-mechanical skills
• Willing to learn
• Ability to establish and maintain good customer relationships
• Full UK driving licence

Working Hours:

• A 5 week rota which includes:

• 8 am - 6 pm (4 weeks)

  9 am - 7 pm (1 week)

  Contracted/average hours are 47/week and the length of a week varies from 38 to 55.5 depending on the week.

  2 in 5 weekend working

• Days are given off in lieu for weekend working

• starting salary of 32,736 (London weighting 4500)
