The Role

We re looking for an experienced Solar PV installer to join our Technical department with a primary focus to provide expert knowledge to help support our growing Solar division. In addition, you ll mentor new installers and assist the business as a whole with technical guidance. The role also supports the technical advice service we offer to other stakeholders such as our builder customers, homeowners and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Use your experience and knowledge to support the Technical department and the wider business.
• Mentor and help train new Solar PV installers.
• Working with installers on non-standard systems and installations.
• Solar 1st fix roof installation quality auditing.
• Lead the way with new product innovation, particularly electrical energy storage.
• Assist with escalated rectification/remedial works.
• Producing videos, documented training and technical guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in solar PV installations.
• Formal electrical and solar qualifications with a level 3 qualification in solar PV installations essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• You must be a team-player but also able to work independently.
• A proactive approach and strong sense of initiative.
• Full UK manual driving license.
