Accounts Assistant Part Time

RECfinancial are currently shortlisting exclusively for this Leicester based client as they look to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant on a part time hybrid basis until the end of of July 2025. This role may also have the potential to become permanent. This leading business has seen considerable growth over the past few years and shows no sign of slowing down. The role sits firmly within a small but perfectly formed friendly and professional finance department.
As an experienced individual, you'll be a real team player and be able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
Your role as Accounts Assistant will involve the following areas;

• Purchase ledger
• Processing inter-company client invoices
• Assist with payment runs / AP reportsvegucle
• Sales ledger / BACS
• Assist with Credit Control
• Account / statement reconciliations
• Processing expenses
• Assist with company vehicles
• Ad hoc duties

• Experience of the above is ideal
• Someone passionate about what they do
• A team player
• Some level of studying such as AAT is ideal but not essential
• Ability to commit to a longer term potential permanent role
• Intermediate Excel would be great
• Ability pick up new systems
