Excellent opportunity for a senior accountant to secure a full time, 12 month fixed term contract role with a large international manufacturing company.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role where you will support the finance department to meet deadlines and to ensure all transactions are processed in a timely and efficient manner.

The Role:

Ensure purchase ledger, sales ledger, and cash book are up to date and reconciled.
Complete month end processing: accruals, prepayments, travel expenses, foreign currency revaluations.
Preparation and submission of monthly group reporting
Monitor and review manufacturing variances and lead regular review meetings.
Quarterly VAT submission
Support the year end close & Audit, Income Tax submissions
Support with forecasting and budgeting process
Ensure payments are processed for Monthly pay, Pensions and other payroll payments.

The Candidate:

Detail-oriented and efficient
Self-motivated with strong time management
Proficient in spreadsheets and ERP systems
Ideally holds a professional accountancy qualification
3-5 years of relevant experience
