Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pension Administration Bridge Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our pension and implementation consultants to deliver high-quality implementation services for new Buck clients and efficiency projects for existing clients. You will bridge the gap between the implementation and administration teams, ensuring a seamless transition and efficient administration of pension schemes.
How you'll make an impact
- Adhere to team standards, utilising best practices, project assurance criteria, and audit requirements.
- Ensure the administration team has the necessary tools to efficiently manage new schemes and prioritise member-oriented services.
- Collaborate with transition consultants and administrators to ensure smooth progress of onboarding and automation projects.
- Facilitate communication and information exchange between external groups and implementation consultants.
- Monitor project progress, provide timely feedback, and foster a culture of agility and continuous learning.
- Host meetings to track project progress, address potential roadblocks, and ensure deadlines are met with the desired outcomes.
- Ensure the team is adequately trained, understands processes, and is dedicated to project success.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Maintain high-level knowledge of legislation and system functionality within the pension areas.
- Travel to various offices as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
About You
- Significant pension experience with strong technical knowledge and an administration background.
- Understanding of pension scheme rules and actuarial instructions.
- Experience with pension systems and databases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work productively as a team member, with experience in project/admin teams and working under instruction.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional hours may be required on an ad-hoc basis during projects.
