Behavior Support Assistant Responsibilities:
Support students with behavioral challenges in and out of the classroom.
Develop and implement tailored educational activities and support strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to the child s education and well-being.
Monitor and record the child's progress, adjusting support strategies as necessary.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess and address student needs
Behavior Support Assistant Requirements:
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly those with behavioral challenges.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
Ability to support personal care needs.
Positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
Enhanced DBS on the update service is mandatory.
Knowledge of behavior management strategies and interventions specific to SEN settings.
