Packing & Shipping Operative

Role: Packing & Shipping Operative

Overall responsibility for the packing and shipping of PCBA assemblies and products to our customers. From receiving goods from production and transacting stock movements, raising bespoke delivery notes and ensuring specific packing processes are adopted and enacted with the assistance of a packing operator.

• Stock transactions with serial and batch control for shipping
• Ensuring the packing process is completed to the required specification, which will include pallet preparation.
• Create/oversee daily manifests and ensure goods are shipped based on delivery due dates
• Facilitating daily collections helping with any logistic related matters
• Ensuring all deliverable items are picked, counted and ready for shipment.
• Responsible for maintaining and checking stock levels of packing materials and raising requests to purchase packing materials.
• Assisting our QA team with returns
• Labelling and distributing incoming materials to internal departments
• There are no heavy loads or forklift work involved in this role and our products are typically small items with ad-hoc pallet shipping.

Core Hours:

Mon-Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Friday 8.30 - 4.00.

All positions are permanent and based on a 39-hour week.
