Key Duties:
- Design and implement engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes students' personal and academic growth.
- Foster a supportive learning environment for students of all abilities, including those with special educational needs.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing clear feedback and communicating effectively with parents and carers.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, SEN coordinators, and other staff to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a productive learning space.
- Take part in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and extracurricular activities to support the wider school community.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
- Proven experience teaching in a primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2).
- Strong ability to tailor lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with additional needs.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Passionate about creating an inspiring and nurturing learning environment.
