Workshop Technician

Simple Recruitment are looking for a reliable and hardworking Workshop Technician for a temporary opportunity with our client in Warminster.
This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
The Job:
Joining the team as a Workshop Technician, you will work on the repair, maintenance and inspection of vehicle components. This will include cleaning, sanding, cutting, bonding, filling and spray painting. You will be offered full training on a range of techniques to increase your skillset and industry knowledge. Once training is completed, there may be some stay away travel as part of the role.

The Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm
Friday 8.30am to 2.30pm

About You:
You will have previous experience in a workshop/vehicle body shop setting, with knowledge of general fabrication techniques and an understanding of paint preparation and application. Experience within the aviation sector would be highly advantageous.

You will be able to work to a high standard of compliance and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and hand/eye coordination skills. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work well as part of a team. Owing to location, own transport is required.
