Do you want to be part of a committed team that strives for excellence in all areas? Then come and join us!
SENDhelp is working alongside our partner school to recruit an English-qualified Teacher who holds QTS.
Our partner school is based in Aylesbury, and they are looking for a new SEN Teacher to support pupils aged between 11 and 19 years old.
Your new school is a special educational needs school for children with Learning Disabilities (LD) and Complex Needs including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Speech and Language Communication Needs (SLCN), and Moderate Learning Disabilities (MLD). This school is very well-resourced and boasts an onsite farm/animal sanctuary that is used to engage pupils and offer a therapeutic and comprehensive approach to teaching.
As the new SEN Teacher, you will be working in a well-resourced, purpose-built school that has recently been accredited as a 'Complex Needs School', which would recognise the increasing complexity of the needs of the children they cater to. You will be supported by a progressive and experienced senior leadership team as well as having 3 TAs supporting you and your pupils in your new classroom.
Given this is a full-time, long-term teaching role, SENDhelp is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly motivated qualified SEN Teacher who holds QTS, and we are open to speaking to all SEN Teachers who have taught SEN pupils with the same/ or similar needs as mentioned above.
With your background in SEN, you will be fully committed to ensuring all children have an equal opportunity to access a creative and fulfilling curriculum; you will bring with you an energetic, strong, and resilient approach to engaging children with additional needs so that you can drive your new class to develop, grow and achieve.
