The King’s School Recreation Centre are looking for experienced Level 2 Swimming Instructors to join their friendly, highly recommended, and professional team.
The Centre’s extensive swimming programme includes lessons for Discovery Duckling & Duckling, Learn to Swim Stages 1 to 7, Swim Academy (Stage 8 and above), Adults (beginners, improvers and training), Crash Courses and Private lessons.
The successful candidates should have a strong background in aquatics and have a true love of teaching, including experience of teaching and coaching adults. Pre-requisites for the post include:
Essential
- Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification
Desirable
- Level 2 Teaching Swimming to Babies and Toddlers
- Level 1 Coaching Qualification
- Current Lifesaving or Teachers Rescue Qualification
Working hours available Term-Time only are: Tuesday 16:30 - 18:00
Shifts that require cover are contracted over 35 weeks a year and additional hours are available during term breaks for crash courses and private lessons.
