Responsibilities and duties
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer you will:

• Lead piping work packages for UK nuclear projects, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications
• Drive the timely resolution of design issues and delivery schedules
• Oversee design changes, troubleshooting, and the 3D piping models
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous learning and process improvement
• Coordinate with various teams to maintain workflow and ensure design consistency

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience in piping engineering and plant design
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver projects
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and deadline-oriented
