Due to the nature of the programme, all applicants must live within a sensible commute of RAF Wyton or Bristol and must have a UK MOD HLC. Regular travel to other locations as required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The role will require the individual to work collaboratively within the SIA Sector and across the SDI Business Unit. It is expected that the candidate will have a proven track record of developing a good understanding of the range of a company s capabilities and offerings, including their innovation and technology practices.This is an exciting opportunity to work for the largest UK client-facing business unit in an area that is known for high performance, fast-pace, and successful delivery of mission critical projects to a range of important clients.

Key Tasks:

  • Oversee the delivery of contracted projects and services, ensuring they meet client expectations and business goals.
  • Ensure adherence to CGI governance processes and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor and manage project performance to ensure business outcomes are achieved.
  • Build and nurture long-lasting relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Follow Shipley and CGI Business Engineering processes to qualify, pursue, and secure new business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, identifying and addressing their evolving needs.
  • Lead and manage a team, overseeing recruitment, retention, and career development.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, helping staff to achieve personal and professional growth within CGI.
  • Support staff development by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for career progression.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Have a good level of experience in the Defence Information Systems domain, with recent and relevant project delivery experience in the area of Defence Digital, Intelligence Systems or
  • Demonstrate significant experience delivering client engagements (projects, services or delivery centre operations) with MOD.
  • Demonstrable account management experience and proven success at capturing, developing and landing new business. Excellent client facing skills and strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable experience of owning, producing and submitting successful proposals of £3M+ for resource based professional services.
  • Have experience managing staff including annual reviews and career development in line with corporate processes and standards.
