Teaching assistant - Hackney

Full time TA needed to work in Mainstream primary school in Hackney, KS1 OR KS2

Full time 08:30 - 16:00

PAYE, we do NOT use Umbrella Companies.

A mainstream primary school in Hackney is looking to appoint two Teaching Assistants immediately.

One vacancy will be working in lower KS1 and another upper KS2, therefore your preference will be considered.

You will be-

- Supporting pupils in the classroom where needed

- Working alongside SEN pupils on a 1-2-1 and small group settings basis

- Assisting class teacher

- Assisting with playground, lunch duties and school trips if and when needed

The school is a mainstream primary school. The school holds their values high and expect staff to do the same.

They are after teaching assistant who have a genuine care for working in education with children, someone who can work off their own initiative and someone who is confident in their ability.

To be considered for the role of Teaching assistant - Hackney you will:

• Have a DBS on the updated service or be willing to apply for one
• Be able to work Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 16:00

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Prior experience working with children

As Teaching assistant - Hackney you will be responsible for:

• Provide support to the teacher and assist pupils with their learning
