Daniel Owen Agency are currently looking for a Head of Train/Bus Driving, Development and Competence, based in East Croydon. Ideal candidates must have experience within the Transport Driving, Development and Competence industry.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to join our team as the Head of Train/Bus Driving, Development and Competence. This role will play a crucial part in enhancing our driving standards and training programs to ensure the safety and efficiency of our operations.

• Oversee the assessment and competence evaluation of all driving staff to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Lead the development and implementation of driving training programs for train and bus operators.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies to maintain and enhance safety protocols and operational guidelines.
• Analyse performance metrics to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the driving team.

• Extensive experience in train/bus driving and operational management, with a deep understanding of industry standards.
• Proven track record in training and development, with strong facilitation and coaching skills.
• Excellent leadership abilities, with experience in managing diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of using data to drive improvements and inform decisions.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
